Where we stand right now

Updated 28 July 2026: there is currently not a single live affiliate link on this site. No product page carries a shop button, and we are not earning a commission from anyone. What follows is the policy we will apply once we do have affiliate links — and we will label them at the link, every time.

How it works

Where a product link on OonjaiGadget is an affiliate link, it means that when you tap through our link and buy from the destination shop, we may earn a small commission from it at no extra cost to you whatsoever — you pay exactly the same as going in and buying directly.

That commission is what keeps this site running — the research, the writing, and the product comparisons — without shoving intrusive ads at you or charging you a fee.

What the commission does not do

For clarity, here are the lines we hold:

• Commission does not decide which products score well or rank near the top.
• We do not hide a product's flaws just because it pays a higher commission.
• We do not recommend something needlessly expensive for a bigger cut — if the cheaper option does the job, we'll say so.
• Some links on the site are not affiliate links at all. We include them because they're a good option for you.

Why we chose this model

We want our advice to be free and accessible to every family caring for an older adult. Earning a commission from the destination shop is what lets us keep going while our incentives stay aligned with yours — we'd rather you choose well, buy happily, and come back trusting us again than earn a one-time sale from advice that didn't fit.

We're not the seller

OonjaiGadget doesn't sell or ship any products. The transaction, payment, shipping, and warranty are all the responsibility of the destination shop you buy from. Please check that shop's terms before you decide.
